Michael’s career is focused on making electric mobility available and affordable to everyone. Prior to Tempo, Michael founded Scoot, the first electric mobility app. Scoot provided millions of zero-emission rides on shared electric scooters, bikes, motorbikes, and cars in the US, Europe, and Latin America before being acquired by Bird in 2019. Michael has a Masters in Urban Planning and an MBA, both from Harvard. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children.

Brian is Tempo’s Chief Product Officer. He has 16 years of product management experience, including roles at Janrain, Twitter, Medium, Cozy (acquired by CoStar), and Ride Report. While at Ride Report, Brian managed products that helped cities understand and maximize the benefits of both shared electric mobility and personal e-bikes. Brian’s very first job was working in a bike shop. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Clemson University. He lives in Portland, OR, with his wife and two children.
